Ok, all cards on the table, this whole lily philips event is just a get rich quick scheme. Having sex with a 100 men under 24 hours let alone a 1000, will cause significant emotional turbulence, unless she has no feelings. Producing content such as this, isn’t about empowerement but for clout and it’s a cutthroat, knee-deep in sinking sand sort of business. With 8 billion people on this planet, in the digital age, somebody will always be willing to go further so what then?

Chasing a minute of fame under the false pretence of empowerment is a lie only Lily Philips believes in, for now. Sooner or later, she may herself struggle to justify this event, although I think she already did. But the show must go on. Even if she does become famous and makes a lot of money, eventually it will stop. I hate that I’ve actively participated in watching this and following what has happened. But the good news is, you and I will forget this ever happened in a few months except for her. With the ultimate prize: being “relevant” in December 2024.

This is not entertainment but more so a zoo, where the attraction changes on a weekly, bi-weekly, monthly basis but it always changes. This is only a small part of our history in the digital age and this is something I do not want to indulge further into.
